The silicone "ears" that hold the iPad (or any tablet) onto the movable back plate will stretch a lot and are quite strong. They were designed with the 12.9" iPad as the standard. I recently bought the 13" iPad too, to test the fitting, only to find the dimensions are the same as the 12.9" iPad! Funny that they changed the name.
We have had comments that the stretch was too strong for this size iPad and so the latest production of MyPad folders has the stitching on the silicone mat moved one inch down from where it was at the top and one inch up from where it was at the bottom to allow more stretch. We think it is perfect for the 13" iPad.
